The Willys CJ-2A was one of the first civilian off-road vehicles, developed directly from the military Jeep used during World War II. Its simple design, rugged chassis, and excellent off-road capability made it popular for farming, forestry, and utility work. The CJ-2A laid the foundation for the future development of the Jeep brand.
