About this item
The GAZ-53 was one of the most widely used trucks throughout the Soviet Union. Its chassis served as the basis for numerous specialized vehicles, including vacuum tankers used by municipal service operators.
This version was equipped with a vacuum system for collecting liquid waste, wastewater, and other technical fluids from locations without access to centralized sewage infrastructure. Vehicles of this type played an important role in maintaining sanitation services in cities, towns, and rural areas.
Today, specialized GAZ-53 vehicles remain valuable examples of municipal and utility service equipment from the second half of the twentieth century.
